Reduction

rIt is one of the most fundamental and useful reactions in organic synthesis. Though reduction of an isolated functional group can be carried out conveniently with a number of reagents, selective reduction of a single functionality, in presence of other such functional groups, with minimum damage to the sensitive portions of a molecule, is a frequent problem in organic synthesis.

We offer Green R&D for Reduction, to those carrying out “Unit Process Reduction” using conventional reduction technology but are interested in exploring a new technology which is safe, competitive, environment friendly and requires minimal additional investment on hardware.

Our Reduction Solution is an alternate to any conventional reduction technology like Catalytic Hydrogenation, Metal-Acid or Iron-Acid Reductions, Metal-Alkali or Sodium Sulfide Reductions, Borohydrides, etc. This solution is applicable and has been successfully commercialized for reduction of following functional groups:-

  1. NITRO to AMINE
  2. NITROSO to AMINE
  3. DINITRO to DIAMINE
  4. OXIME to AMINE
  5. SATURATION OF DOUBLE BOND

In our R&D process, we evaluate our customer need; develop a customized Newreka Reduction Technology (NRT), which includes customized process and customized Proprietary Catalytic Formulation. We then scale-up the process, and demonstrate a commercially viable technology at the plant.
